Taking these printers apart is not difficult, but you do need to know where certain things are and you need a good well-lit working area so that you have plenty of room to work. Read these pages in full to be sure that you fully understand what's involved.

Your printer should now look like this Before going any further you need to remover some wires so that they are out of the way, otherwise they will prevent you from lifting the mechanism out of the cover |

Start at the back of the printer Gently pull out the white plug 1 Ease the wires out of the two plastic holders 2 and 3 |

which will leave the wires loose with the plug on the end, push this out over the back of the printer |
