Inside these printers you can be exposed to hazardous electrical voltages there are also sharp edges that you can cut yourself on. If you do attempt it please remember that I have no liability or responsibility of any kind.
Taking these printers apart is not difficult, but you do need to know where certain things are and you need a good well-lit working area so that you have plenty of room to work. Read these pages in full to be sure that you fully understand what's involved.

Reassembly - is just the reverse of taking apart. The main difficulty is making sure that the lugs engage properly as you put the mechanism back into the base of the printer. Take note of this particular bit. Make sure that the big plastic lug comes through the hole in the metal and that the whole mechanism is sitting down under all the plastic lugs and clips. |
